Gentle Hamstring Stretch for Beginners | Morning Yoga for Tight Hamstrings | Slow & Mindful Flow
In this gentle beginner-friendly morning yoga class, we focus on slowly opening and releasing tight hamstrings while bringing calm awareness to the breath and body. This soothing session is designed to improve flexibility in the legs, release tension in the hips and lower back, and create a feeling of ease and spaciousness in the body.
Through mindful breathing, gentle side stretches, supine leg work, hip opening, twists, and a soft forward fold, you will gradually warm up and lengthen your hamstrings without forcing or pushing your limits. Modifications are offered throughout the practice, making this class accessible whether your hamstrings are very tight or already more flexible.
We also explore a beginner-friendly Downward Facing Dog, encouraging length in the spine and gradual extension through the legs. The class closes with a deeply relaxing Savasana, allowing your body to fully absorb the benefits of your practice.
