A rough iPhone video of a recent Drive King 15 build. I was still full of cold and chest problems so my apologies for the vagueness in places.
The Drive King is a hand built single channel all valve amp with a cascaded gain stage, built in reverb and a buffered FX Loop. The Variable Headroom feature allows the maximum power to be dropped to achieve power stage breakup and compression at lower volumes. The Drive King range includes 15, 26, 50 and 100 watt versions, this 15 watt version uses a pair of EL84 output valves. The other higher powered variants use 6L6 or EL34s.
The cab is loaded with a single Celestion G12-65.
