Pereira says he is only fighting the opponent the UFC asked him to face, and said he didn't duck No. 2 Magomed Ankalaev.

It's not my fault his fights are boring and no one wants to watch, Pereira said of Ankalaev.

I joked that he is tied for the UFC record in takedown percentage, since he's 1-for-1 in his career on takedowns. He said he has a ground game, though, and that people will be surprised how good it will be if he has to use it.

That's unlikely against Rountree, a noted striker who has attempted zero takedowns in his UFC career.
