We’re defining the concept of a modern boy band as a group that began its career from the year 2000 and beyond, and has three or more members who either sing, play instruments, and/or perform choreographed dance numbers. That said, supergroups such as NKOTBSB won’t count here, and neither will boy bands established before the year 2000 with highly successful comebacks - though you may find them on our other list of the top ten boy bands.
