Описание: I was called to check why this boiler is going off every half an hour and fail to relight for the next half and hour. I suspected may be the pump is faulty, so that the boiler is overheating and cutting off. But I was wrong!, when I looked under the gas fire ( remember this is a back boiler with the gas fire in the front) I was shocked to see this. I immediately closed the switch off the boiler and ventilate the house. Then for educational purpose I recorded this video with all the doors - windows open. Have a look - This is why all gas boilers need to be serviced every year. It was so lucky escape for this home owner from potential carbon monoxide poisoning.

Obviously I have capped the gas supply off from both boiler and the gas fire, and remove the Gas fire completely and organise the boiler to be replaced with a combination boiler in the kitchen.
