This past month, we saw the Echo Show 5 and the Echo Auto start to roll out, as well as a number of new features for #Alexa. Your Echo Show devices all received a new control interface for everything from announcements to controlling your smart home, and everything in between. You can also bring up music and video through this new interface as well, and run alarms and routines from it. It's a great new interface, although not everyone loves the way the smart home control is laid out.

Your Fire TV devices all have the new YouTube app available and you can use your Alexa Remote to search around the application. This is easy and makes it a much better experience to use YouTube. The cold war is over!

Alexa continues to get smarter with new skills capabilities for developers. They can make skills in Hindi, and they also have a new tool for making story-based games. You'll also see Bluetooth device makers be able to access the Alexa app with the new Alexa Mobile Accessories Kit. That's going to be very powerful for getting on the road with Alexa.
