So the question hits harder when you picture the opposite.
In this “lost in time” version of Blackpool, the promenade is still there — but it’s been left behind. The painted signs cling on like ghosts, shopfronts are sealed up, and storm-salt has eaten the metalwork to the bone. Windows are dark. Pavements are cracked. Weeds and sand drift back into the streets like they always owned them.
The tower still watches the town — not as a landmark, but as a warning:
places don’t die in one moment… they fade when nobody comes back.
This is Blackpool after a century of silence.
Same streets. Same names.
Just… no life.
