Mariah Carey mentioned Ben Margulies in her recent Questlove Supreme podcast interview; the man she co-wrote the majority of her debut album with. She referenced how awful the deal that she signed with him was. It's a topic that she covered in her memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey, and it's something that I found very interesting. Although Ben Margulies didn't write any other songs with Mariah after her debut, he made a lot of money off Mariah throughout the 1990s.
