I have selected the Master Mason by Hiram & Solomon as my Cigar of The Week. It is a very nice looking Toro sized Maduro with an oily Dominican wrapper with Indonesian Sumatra binder and Habano Jalapa, Habano Ometepe, and Ligero Habano Estelí fillers. It starts off with a medium strength and flavors of sweet tobacco, spice, and pepper. The draw is smooth with an even burn. At the halfway point and through the finish, the strength approaches full bodied level and the flavor becomes less sweet but the spice, pepper, and cedar becomes more prevalent.
The history as to how this cigar came to be is great and I encourage you all to read about it.
The Rest of the story: This is a well made full bodied smoke. I will enjoy one every day for the rest of the week.
