The purpose of this demo is to provide an ideal environment to audition Steam Audio's HRTF and appreciate the enhanced 3D perception of sound direction that HRTFs can provide to video game audio. You can compare the three-dimensional sound of Steam Audio, with the one-dimensional sound of Unity's default audio - the latter serving as a good example of the traditional synthetic stereo panners that most video games use.
Interactive demo controls:
Move audio source front/back/left/right: Left Stick
Move audio source up/down: Right Stick or Triggers
Toggle camera view: Button A
Toggle HRTF: Button X or Right Bumper
Change sound: D-Pad Up and Down
Exit application: Button B (double tap) or Keyboard Escape
