DRIVING THE GEORGIA MILITARY ROAD - Was it worth it?

Описание: The Georgia Military Road has intriqued us the whole time we've been road tripping in Georgia. So, with the winter behind us we set off to explore this Soviet built mountain highway for ourselves and see what all the hype was about.
With mountains peaking at 5000+ metres and surrounded by the epic, raw and unforgiving landscape, we made our way north to the Russian border. Miles of trucks in convoy, eroding roads, crazy drivers and the unpredictable Georgian summer weather sure made for an interesting drive!


We're currently in Georgia and (fingers crossed!) we'll get into Azerbaijan, on the edge of the Caspian Sea.
