The 101st Annual Session of Indian Science Congress is being held at the University of Jammu from 3rd - 7th Feb 2014 which will focus on the theme "Innovations in Science and Technology for Inclusive Development". During this session, an attempt was made to showcase the recent developments in the field of Science & Technology in the country and abroad. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Manmohan Singh, Hon'ble Prime Minister of India. International experts along with National luminaries from different streams of Science & Technology and leaders of many Science Academics participated in this Congress. As many as 12000 15000 delegates including Nobel Laureates, Senior Scientists, Teachers, Young Scholars and Students presented their research findings. A road map for investing science into the development process of India was the main topic for discussion. Various economic sectors like agriculture, housing, energy, environment, health care, water, home land security, communication etc may require new scientific knowledge for shaping their future.
The Hon'ble Vice President of India Sh. Hamid Ansari will be the chief Guest on this occasion.
