Vulnerable Populations: Vulnerability in Law and Ethics

Описание: In the final module of our CENTRES series on Clinical Ethics beyond more commonly debated themes, Mathavi Senguttuvan from the Centre for Biomedical Ethics discusses the topic 'Vulnerable Populations'.

In the second video from a set of three, Mathavi explores references to vulnerability in relevant laws/statutes and ethical codes/guidelines, with focus on Singapore's Vulnerable Adults Act. While these documents provide specific, useful approaches to identifying vulnerable persons, and sources of vulnerability, we reflect on a disconnect from how responses to vulnerability ought to be framed.
