Описание: I've been testing Guild Wars 2 on Linux for many months and this is the end result. Lutris Settings video also shows environment variables, dxvk.conf and some folder structures. Feel free to try FSync instead of ESync if it works better.

Lutris Settings video:    • Guild Wars 2 on Linux (Manjaro XFCE with L...
Gameplay video [native 1080p]:    • Guild Wars 2 on Linux (Manjaro XFCE with L...
More gameplay video [upscaled 1440p]:    • Guild Wars 2 on Linux (Manjaro XFCE with L...
Gameplay with FSync and wine-ge:    • Guild Wars 2 on Linux (Manjaro XFCE with L...

Note: Video is upscaled from 1080p to 1440p with Lanczos (OBS).

Guild Wars 2 runs very smoothly (60 FPS), but not as smooth as on Windows in some areas. For example, Black Citadel sphere causes FPS drop to around 40 - 50, while on Windows there is no difference in FPS (constant 60 FPS). Large open-world meta-events might drop FPS on Linux, while on Windows there is no difference whatsoever.

Most noticeable difference between Windows and Linux is VSync latency. On Windows there is basically no latency. On Linux latency is noticeable, but acceptable. This latency happens only on a 60Hz monitor though. When I tested Guild Wars 2 on a 180Hz gaming monitor (FPS limited to 90), VSync latency disappeared completely.

==============================

Technical info, settings, installations and commands (Arch-based Linux with Nvidia):

Note: All commands are executed in /home/[username]/ aka "~" folder!
Note: Update your Manjaro first.

Disclaimer: I won't take any responsibility if something goes wrong, for example data gets destroyed, computer catches on fire or Windows/Linux stops working. Always be careful when executing commands!

==============================

Update Manjaro and clean up unnecessary packages:

sudo pacman -Syy
sudo pacman -Syu
sudo pacman -R $(pacman -Qdtq) (run again until no packages found)
sudo pacman -Scc (package cache cleanup)
rm -rf .cache/ && reboot

Install Nvidia drivers if needed:

sudo mhwd -a pci nonfree 0300
sudo pacman -S nvidia-utils
sudo pacman -Scc (package cache cleanup)
rm -rf .cache/ && reboot

==============================

Install Lutris:

sudo pacman -S lutris wine-staging winetricks gamemode vkd3d vulkan-icd-loader vulkan-tools xorg-xgamma lib32-gamemode lib32-vkd3d lib32-vulkan-icd-loader lib32-mesa
sudo pacman -Scc (package cache cleanup)

**OPTIONAL**
Install OBS (if you want to record videos):

sudo pacman -S obs-studio lib32-opencl-nvidia opencl-nvidia
sudo pacman -R lib32-libva-*-driver libva-*-driver (if OBS crashes on startup)
sudo pacman -R $(pacman -Qdtq) (run again until no packages found)
sudo pacman -Scc (package cache cleanup)

Install VLC for H264 and HEVC playback (if you want to watch recorded videos):

sudo pacman -S vlc vlc-plugins-all
sudo pacman -Scc (package cache cleanup)
**OPTIONAL**

==============================

Lutris environment variables (also inside Lutris settings without "export"):

Note: Remember to change shader cache location if needed!
Note: "set_shader.sh" in the Lutris Settings video. Can be executed with sh command, but not really needed because Lutris can execute them too.

export __GL_SHADER_DISK_CACHE=1
export __GL_SHADER_DISK_CACHE_SKIP_CLEANUP=1
export __GL_SHADER_DISK_CACHE_PATH=/home/Games/Shaders
export __GL_THREADED_OPTIMIZATIONS=0
export __GL_SYNC_TO_VBLANK=0
export DXVK_STATE_CACHE_PATH=/home/Games/Shaders
export DXVK_CONFIG_FILE=/home/Games/dxvk.conf

dxvk.conf (configure as you like):

Note: Negative LodBias makes games look sharper.
Note: maxFrameLatency is 1 to reduce VSync latency.
Note: Change maxFrameRate to your monitor's Hz or half-Hz if high Hz (144Hz = 72, 180Hz = 90).

d3d11.samplerAnisotropy = 16
d3d9.samplerAnisotropy = 16
d3d11.samplerLodBias = -0.2
d3d9.samplerLodBias = -0.2
dxgi.maxFrameRate = 90
d3d9.maxFrameRate = 90
dxgi.syncInterval = 0
d3d9.presentInterval = 0
dxgi.maxFrameLatency = 1
d3d9.maxFrameLatency = 1
dxvk.tearFree = True

Creating Games folder, copy pasting Gw2, creating shader cache folder and Wine prefix folder (example):

Note: Know where your Gw2 Windows installation is!
Note: You need to know how to mount and use drives!
Note: You can always choose different locations, these are examples.

sudo mkdir /home/Games
sudo chown -R [linux username] /home/Games/
sudo chmod -R 700 /home/Games/
mkdir /home/Games/Gw2
cp -vu --preserve=timestamps [your Gw2 installation]/Gw2-64.exe /home/Games/Gw2/
cp -vu --preserve=timestamps [your Gw2 installation]/Gw2.dat /home/Games/Gw2/
mkdir /home/Games/Shaders
mkdir /home/Games/Wine
mkdir /home/Games/Wine/Gw2_wine
