Formerly known as the Auckland Metro Centre. This elevator cannot be more brilliantly designed. From the holes in the rocket, you can see up the shaft — a brilliant feature, and cleverly simulates a real rocket. It was about 8 in the morning, so the elevator isn’t as busy as I imagine it usually is.
NOTE: After I stopped filming, I got busted by a member of staff passing by. She was quite cross, and said that I was “riding it up and down too much”. I would’ve definitely raised an issue with her if she said that I couldn’t film the elevator. Thankfully, I was just riding it for the video, and I just need to be more cautious next time.
