And for those who have not heard, longtime music journalist, radio and podcast producer, and all-around advocate of all things good and true, Bruce Brown, has been diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer – myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) – that is causing him to travel for treatments. This “Big Beautiful Bruce Brown Benefit” was produced by True Tunes, also based in Nashville, and was organized by a cadre of Brown’s friends and industry associates, along with Lipscomb University student workers.
