The Atlanta Thrashers have been gone from the city since May, 2011. The ECHL minor league team, Atlanta Gladiators, graciously had a "Believe In Blueland" night on December 16, 2022 honoring that former NHL team. It was a huge success. Sold out crowd. Jerseys worn by the team from way back then. Former announcers, mascot, Blue Crew, auctions, everyone wearing the Thrashers gear and jerseys. It was a great night.
