$250 All-in-One Streaming PC - Can it be done?!

Streaming on a budget computer is not necessarily something most people would think is an optimal experience. However, hardware encoding like NVENC and AMD's encoder (AMF, VCE, whatever you wanna call it) makes budget build single system gaming + streaming actually doable, and the results are rather impressive! While OBS Studio now has built in support for the hardware encoder onboard the Radeon cards...the auto-optimizer in Streamlabs-OBS works best in my opinion so thats what we'll be using. The added advantage to Streamlabs-OBS for this video is that it further encompasses the "can it do it all" approach we're taking, since all overlays & alerts are available all within the program itself.

AMD VCE Supported graphics cards begin with the GCN cards, namely the HD7700 series and newer, though VCE Gen 3 which was introduced with the GCN3 GPUs which includes the R9 285, R9 Fury cards, the 380/380X, and the RX400 series Polaris cards, is recommended. Obviously the more improved the VCE variant is, the better the quality will be.

Much if what is discussed here also applies to use with Nvidia GTX and RTX cards utilizing NVENC. The SLOBS/SL-OBS auto-optimizer will generally auto-select that hardware encoder meaning that nothing in this video is inherently specific to AMD Radeon aside from my use of THEIR hardware encoder.
