Welcome to a mcmmo guide episode
So today we will be looking the skill Acrobatics

I will stat by telling you the basics of acrobatics then show you how to build the simplest and most compact grinder for easy xp
All the timestamps are on the screen and in the description if you want to skip ahead

Lets start with the basics
You gain Xp for acrobatics when you take fall damage. You gain 120xp for each half heart of damage you take by falling and you gain nothing if you die by falling.

So this means that using any enchants that reduces you damage like Protection will slow down your XP gain
But Feather Falling enchant is an exemption to this. Feather falling enchant of any level will double your XP gained from fall damage.
So I will recommend not using any vanilla enchant other than Feather Falling when you grind for acrobatics.

There are 3 abilities for acrobatics
Roll, Graceful Roll and Dodge

Roll is a passive ability which reduces the fall damage taken. The chances for roll happening increases by 0.1% for each level of acrobatics. It max out at lvl 1000 and the chances of roll happening becomes 100%

Graceful roll on the other hand requires you to sneak when falling to be activated,
It can negate up to 14 damage points, or 7 hearts.

Although both these skills reduce the fall damage they give you the XP for the damage that you would have taken without the roll and bonus 80xp, so use the roll whenever you can.

Dodge is a passive skill that dodges the attack of mobs by half. It caps at 20% chance at lvl 800. I dont find this ability that useful and this effects your mcmmo grinding in no way.

Now let us get to the grinding part.
This is the basic acrobatics grinder. Its compact and uses basic resources like cobble, wood and redstone.
It requires 349 cobble (Around 4 stacks)
50 redstone dust
27 presure plate
25 fence
and
25 trapdoor

Optionally you can have 2 note blocks, 2 dropper and 1 cobble wall

The schematic to this built is in the description of the video

The note blocks can be placed down if you want to afk this grinder and be notified by the sound of the note block when you reach the end,
Similarly the dropper/dispencer can be used to throw out Golden apple or regen potions when you reach the end
The cobble wall helps you to line up perfectly so that you dont get stuck in the fences below.
This grinder is semi afkable so you can turn down all the sound of Minecraft except noteblock if you don't wat to be interrupted by the sound. That is the only purpose of the 2 noteblocks at the end.
You can also add 2 dispensers below with regen splash potion if you wish to.
Make sure to sethome at the top for faster grinding. If you cannot sethome then you can use ladders but this will significantly slow down your grinding process.

So as you can see its very easy to grind mcmmo for acrobatics using this. You can gain upto 28 lvls in one drop from the top. I have already capped all my skills my acrobatics at 1000

So a Server specific tip I would give is to use few custom enchants. The best one of the CE is Shielded 2 which gives you good regen throught the fall, if your server does not have custom enchants then a becon can provide you regen effect.
2nd CE that I recoment is Overlord. This gives you extra hearts. This will allow you to fall more frequently and avoid the need to pause and heal between falls.
Having these 2 enchants at max level eliminates the need for golden apple or pausing to heal when grinding.
