Following the rigid version of the 6-Speed ZF Ecomat Citaro in the "0-Top Speed" series is the articulated... LX04 LCC, Ex-Stagecoach London as 23065 in TFL service from 2004 up until 2011! This O530G uses the same engine as the previous rigid Citaro which is the Mercedes OM906hLA outputting 279hp! A bus with that much power that still sounds very calm is something we don't see much, and I'm pretty much sat next to the engine. Being one the 1st Articulated Citaros to roam the streets of London since their mass withdrawal, this was taken from 0-50mph with full kickdown on an SWR Rail Replacement! Such a beast.
