My Imperial Shih Tzu Turns 10! (and Why It’s So Special)

Описание: My imperial shih tzu turned 10 years old on April 1st and this video gives a recap of her first ten years and why it's such a special milestone for her. Imperial shih tzus are the mini version of shih tzus weighing under 9 pounds and are often called a teacup shih tzu or mini shih tzu. From getting her from the breeder, her early days of potty training, how she travels and her health today, you will learn all about my sweet little dog, Reese. I got Reese as a companion to travel with me when I started travel nursing because I wanted a small portable dog that I could easily fly with. She made travel nursing with a dog easy and she is the best dog for traveling. I was inspired to get Reese based on our shih tzu family dog named Lola who was so sweet and gentle.

Reese is a great little traveler and loves checking out the sites along the way. Flying with a shih tzu is easy when you have a good dog carrier for plane (I use a soft bag). She has been on more flights than I can count and travels very well in her carrier bag. Reese developed autoimmune meningitis encephalitis when she was 7.5 years old but it is now in remission.
