Our goal was to have our middle school science classes show off a series of demonstrations to illustrate the effects of centripetal forces on motion. Centripetal force being the inward force that causes objects to move curved path. The Illusion of an outward force moving objects away from the curved path when the centripetal force is removed is often described as a centrifugal force. What we are actually seeing is the effects of inertia, the tendency for objects to follow a straight path when no other forces are acting on it.
This is part two of two videos, the monetization of this video will be donated to the Four Diamonds Fund, a charity that raises money for families of children with cancer.
