Jenny Reeves takes a quick tour of Phil Howard's clog making workshop to see the clogs that are being hand made for the Lancashire Sparks project.
Lancashire Sparks is a unique project which focuses upon clog dancing, literacy and intangible heritage. The project includes the legacy of a class-set of hand made clogs, which can be loaned to Lancashire schools and used to teach dance, complement classroom-based history lessons and inspire creative work.
Lancashire Sparks is a partnership project between Lancashire County Council, About Time Dance Company, Heritage Learning Lancashire and Blackburn Museum, funded through Museums and Schools by Arts Council England.
