Harry was the son of Nathan's brother, violinist Pincus Glantz. Other bands used the same pseudonyms - Adrian Schubert records were also issued as Dubin's Dandies. The Tennessee Happy Boys name was also used by Harry Reser. Some California Ramblers records were labeled as Nathan Glantz. He played with the Bar Harbour Society Orchestra (I have a separate album set by the Bar Harbour unit), Tampa Blue Jazz Band, Joseph Samuels, Mamie Smith's Jazz Band, The Southland Five/Six, Jack Stillman, New Synco JaZz Band, Van Eps Banjo Orchestra and Trio, Irving Peskin, aka Isadore "Niel" Parker, born in 1908, in Worcester, MA trumpeter-composer-arranger started trumpet and cornet lessons at eight years. A long-lasting gig with radio and television ensued, keeping him involved well into his senior years. The Columbians Dance Orchestra Deluxe was directed by Robert Hood Bowers. Ben Selvin took over in 1925 and Bowers focussed on classical music although his name can be found on Columbia records into the early thirties.
