Описание: The matriarchal Libyo-Ethiopians, otherwise known as Pelasgians, Danaans and Cadmeains, the autochthons of the Balkan Peninsula were the ones who gave it the name Greece. The Pelasgians (discussed in Lesson 2), on moving from Africa to Europe, transferred from an African mountain Range (The Mountains of the Moon is an ancient term referring to a legendary mountain or the Rwenzori mountain range in Uganda, East Africa which is the source of the Nile River) to an Argolian counterpart — Argolis being the southern peninsula, between Attica and Laconia where Danaos, the eponymous Nilotic father of the Greek Danaans, first arrived in mainland Greece to set up the city of Argos near its northwestern shore, moving a little to the northwest to set up Arcadia at the foot of a mountain which they called Olimba (the name which the Latins later rendered as Olympia, Olimbos noun – A mountain peak in northeast Greece near the Aegean coast; believed by ancient Greeks to be the dwelling place of the gods (9,570 feet high). Olimbos and Olymous are semantically related. You can use “Olympus” instead a noun “Olimbos”).
