An Al Jazeera investigation has found that hundreds of Mexicans have undergone experimental and unregulated medical procedures by the country's flagship neurological institute.
Over a 14-year period, the patients were fitted with a device, meant to drain fluid from the brain - but in some cases it made their conditions worse.
