The 90s Clubbing Era
In a general sense, "Clubland" described the prolific nightclub industry of the 1990s.
This era was defined by:
Super-Clubs: Iconic UK venues like The Hacienda (Manchester), Ministry of Sound (London), and Cream(Liverpool).
Musical Evolution: The decade saw the birth and mainstream rise of sub-genres like Jungle, UK Garage, Hardcore, and Eurodance.
Cultural Movement: Clubbing in the 90s was a lifestyle that moved beyond radio-friendly pop into a massive "rave" and electronic dance music (EDM) culture.
Iconic 90s Anthems (Clubland Classics)
If you were in "Clubland" in the 90s, you would have heard these definitive tracks:
Eurodance: Rhythm Is a Dancer(Snap!), What Is Love (Haddaway), and No Limit (2 Unlimited).
House/Pop-Dance: Show Me Love(Robin S), Dreamer (Livin' Joy), and Finally (CeCe Peniston).
Hardcore/Rave: Set You Free (N-Trance) and Let Me Be Your Fantasy(Baby D)
