Child of Great Spirit - Hollow Reed

Описание: I had the extraordinary opportunity to collaborate with poet Selk Hastings on a spontaneous recording that remains one of my most cherished creative moments. I captured myself playing the flute through a microphone, which was then routed through a chain of guitar pedals, fully wet, and amplified back into the microphone via sound waves. This setup created a rich, natural delay intertwined with lush reverb, resulting in a sonic landscape that was both organic and immersive. The improvisation was born entirely in the moment, driven by intuition and inspiration, producing a truly unique piece that defied replication—an ephemeral musical expression that stands as a testament to spontaneous creation.

This improvisational session proved so compelling that it was deemed worthy of release, culminating in the album "The Channel" by the band Hollow Reed, now available for streaming. Following this collaboration, Selk and I continued to craft numerous recordings together, each pushing the boundaries of improvisation and sonic experimentation. In the years that followed, I formed various bands and collaborated with a diverse array of artists, each project building on the creative foundation established during that first, unforgettable session with Selk.
