In this two-part episode, a hotshot detective works with Ivy, while Zack takes a much-needed vacation. However, there is something strange about this dark and driven young man. At the moment of truth, when he is about to capture Carmen... he tells her he wants to join her instead. The challenge is gone from detective work. He wants Carmen to teach him everything she knows, as he plans to become the world's greatest thief. As Part Two unfolds, Zack and Ivy team up to sop the boy who is now pulling off crimes Carmen would never try. She has "created a monster" and needs Zack and Ivy's help to stop him.
The world's greatest thief is on the loose, and it's up to two young detectives to find her. The only complication is that they, and Carmen, exist inside of a computer game and they must depend on their human "player" to provide them with essential information.
With "Indiana Jones" type adventure, and mysterious clues, "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego" is an exciting show that challenges children (and their parents) to figure out the weekly crimes. This nonviolent show is rich in both excitement and education as Carmen Sandiego attempts to steal the most valuable objects in the world. It's up to our detectives, and the audience to figure out, where in the world she is.
