In which I describe the characteristics and workmanship of a Seaforth #2 kilt made in 1947 by T. Gordon & Sons of Glasgow.
I would have been able to restore this kilt so that it could have given another 71 years of service, had not some BUTCHER cut the front apron off - presumably as backing for a shadow-box, or for tartan-patches.
As it is, I'll use it to make tartan bagpipe-bag covers for the regimental pipers.
