Join me for the first steps in building out of our solo playthrough in the Shadowdark system!
I create a region map, roll up 4 level zero characters, and start laying down some ideas for what might be in store for them. Shadowdark is a dangerous system so I'm not confident all of them will make it out alive!

I've dabbled in some solo play in Ironsworn and D&D 5e in the past, but I'm really excited to try out this system. I'll most likely be adding in more resources as I go, but I want to try to stick to the resources provided by the system by itself first.
Remember, if you're trying solo play, at the end of the day it's your game and you can change anything you want. Be as random as you'd like, and scrap or retcon anything that doesn't make sense! I enjoy the challenge of making oracle rolls work, regardless of the outcome, but I'll massage the story a bit to make things make sense while I play.
