A Lovely Chrurch

Описание: The Church belongs to Jesus, and with great determination, he is working to restore it as one unified body under one head—himself. However, in its current state, the Church is divided and, consequently, weak. Clearly, this is not what God intended.

In this teaching, “A Lovely Church,” we will explore what the Body of Christ so desperately needs: the love of God. Without love, the Church flounders ineffectively; but with love, we can stand united as a powerful testimony to Jesus’ accomplishments.

How can we move from where we are now to a place of unity? Our starting point will be the example of the early Church and the frequently used phrase “with one accord” in the book of Acts, which vividly portrays the attitude of heart that characterized the early Church from its birth on the Day of Pentecost.

This teaching will enlighten you on how the early followers of Jesus, by submitting to his lordship, became “A Lovely Church”—a beacon of light and hope for those trapped in the darkness of this present age.
