Описание: With great pleasure, I propose the video of this extraordinary Audi R8 Le Mans Prototype LMP900, chassis 607, which I saw and filmed during the 2024 edition of the Mugello Classic by Peter Auto. First of all, I must thank the kindness of the JMB Classic staff for the spectacular onboarding of the driver François Perrodo. Without this material, the video would not have been complete. The car has recently found a home and care in the attentive and competent hands of the French team preparing it to take part in the European Endurance Racing Legend championship, where it will be used from 2024. The Audi R8 LMP #607 that you see was assembled in 2009 by Champion Racing under the direction of technical director Brad Kettler and built from scratch by the best specialists using original spare parts of the cars that raced in those years. Once completed, the car was sold to privateer Rogers Motorsports, which entered it in numerous races at the 2010 North American HSR Championship. The #607 R8 LMP won the 2014, 2015 and 2018 Classic HSR 24H at Daytona and has been used in various Audi Sport exhibitions, driven by Tom Kristensen at Sebring in 2016. The 2005 model features a mid-rear mounted 3.6-liter Twin-Turbo V8 with FSI direct fuel injection. At the time, in competitions, the power was drastically reduced by regulation and went from 625 hp in 2001 to about 520 hp in the 2005 model. The chassis is a monocoque in aluminium and carbon fibre, the gearbox is a sequential 6-speed Ricardo, and the independent suspensions are Push-Rod type at the front and rear. The overall weight of the car is just over 950 kg. Con grande piacere vi propongo il video di questa straordinaria Audi R8 Le Mans Prototype LMP900, telaio 607, che ho avuto l'occasione di vedere e filmare durante l'edizione 2024 del Mugello Classic by Peter Auto. Prima di tutto devo ringraziare la gentilezza dello staff di JMB Classic per lo spettacolare onboard del pilota François Perrodo. Senza questo materiale il video non sarebbe stato così completo. La vettura ha recentemente trovato casa e cura presso le attente e competenti mani della scuderia francese che la prepara per prendere parte al campionato europeo Endurance Racing Legend dove dal 2024 viene schierata. L'Audi R8 LMP #607 che vedete è stata assemblata nel 2009 dalla Champion Racing sotto la direzione del direttore tecnico Brad Kettler. Costruita da zero dai migliori specialisti utilizzando parti di ricambio originali delle vetture che hanno corso in quegli anni. Una volta completata, l'auto è stata venduta al team privato Rogers Motorsports che l'ha portata a numerose gare nel campionato nordamericano HSR del 2010. La R8 LMP #607 è stata la vincitrice della Classic HSR 24H di Daytona nel 2014, 2015 e 2018 ed è stata utilizzata in varie esibizioni Audi Sport, dove è stata guidata da Tom Kristensen a Sebring nel 2016. Il modello 2005 è dotato di un motore V8 Twin-Turbo da 3.6 litri con iniezione diretta di benzina FSI collocato in posizione centrale/posteriore. All'epoca, nelle competizioni, la potenza venne ridotta drasticamente da regolamento e si passò dai 625 hp del 2001 ai circa 520 hp del modello 2005. Il telaio è un monoscocca in alluminio e fibra di carbonio, il cambio è sequenziale a 6 rapporti della Ricardo e le sospensioni indipendenti sono di tipo Push-Rod all'anteriore ed al posteriore.
