Vendor-Risk Management “activist”, author, and speaker, Rick Roybal has worked in the oil and gas industry for over 15 years. His early career in technical writing fostered a desire for organizational policy and procedural development. Today, Rick is a project manager for Martindale Consultants. Rick’s experience in vendor due diligence and compliance gives Martindale a front-seat view of the risks inherent in their clients’ vendor management process. Rick also serves as the President and Chair of the Vendor Roundtable. Rick has earned three degrees: B.A. Russian, M.A. Linguistics, and M.B.A. Finance & Accounting. Rick is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
