1. cell wall is present in plant cell while it is absent in animal cell.
2. animal cell is round and plant cell is rectangular.
3. plant cell is larger than animal cell.
4. chloroplast and chlorophyll are absent in animal cell but present in plant cell.
5. large central vacuole is present in plant cell only.
6. golgi bodies in plant cell is known as dictyosomes.
7. nucleus is central in animal cell while pushed towards side in plant cell.
8. in hypotonic solution, animal cell bursts while plant cell becomes turgid.
9. centrioles (centrosomes) are present only in animal cell.
10. plant cell is autotrophic and animal cell is heterotrophic.
11. lysosome is absent in plant cell.
