I've enjoyed feeding birds ever since working in a shop in East London and taking my lunch breaks in the Geffrye Museum. I used to feed the pigeons, the robin and the crows. It was amazing to see the pecking order as I chucked bits of sandwiches and crisps at them.
Now pigeons, not everyone likes them - I know many people who immediately kick them if they come close, but even with their half torn feet and messy look, there is something about them I think people miss.
They live their life, taking the food we left behind, they fly in beautiful silhouettes in the sky, and they make the city their home just like humans. Granted they poo everywhere but it's not too often it lands on your head.
So yes, today I influence you to like pigeons more. I hope you do.
