Welcome back to Part 4 of our Royal Enfield Restoration Series!
In today's video, we are working on the "Heart" of the Bullet engine—the Lubrication System. We will be installing the Timing Plate and the Oil Pumps.
This is one of the most critical steps in the entire engine rebuild. Many people make the mistake of swapping the two oil pumps (Feed Pump vs. Return Pump) or installing them on the wrong side. One wrong move here, and the engine can seize immediately due to lack of oil pressure.

Timing Plate Fitting: How to properly install the CI Engine timing plate.
Oil Pump Identification: How to tell the difference between the Feed Pump and the Return Pump.
