The Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, together with 10 of its female researchers, has launched a communication campaign to encourage young women not only to take up studies but also to make a conscious decision to pursue a career in science.
In few European countries is the proportion of women in science as low as in Italy: only a third of those doing research are women. So, if you are one of the many girls who, since childhood, have dreamed of discovering new things and solving urgent problems, don't abandon your chosen path. Follow your ambitions, as these 10 female researchers from unibz have done.
