Straydog Billy’s Original Script (Shelter History)
Straydog No-Kill Shelter was co-founded in 1994 by Bill Arnold and his late wife, Pat Arnold, on 20 acres of land in Texas. Over the years, the shelter has grown into a safe haven for stray and homeless animals. Dogs not adopted find a forever home here. After Pat’s sudden passing in 2003, Bill’s second wife, Juana Vazquez Arnold, continued the mission as the shelter’s director.

Today, Straydog Inc. continues to rescue, rehabilitate, and provide care for animals while promoting spaying, neutering, and adoption to prevent euthanasia in overcrowded shelters.
