Twilight saves her brother and all of ponykind by freeing the real Mi Amore and defeating Queen Chrysalis, a changeling that had assumed Mi Amore’s appearance in an attempt to take over Equestria.

Season 2:

In a lot of ways, the ponies are still taking the high road as they go on adventures that teach them the importance of honesty, loyalty, assertiveness and respect. After many trials and adventures, the ponies learn that combined forces of good can overpower evil, once and for all!
