What inspires you?
Jazz has a huge influence on the way I sing. Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong...

How did you prepare to perform the opening: were there any challenges, difficulties, things you appreciated?
I knew Cobra by name, but I hadn't watched it as a child. The biggest challenge was singing in Japanese. It's not the first time I've sung phonetically (I sing a lot of Bossa Nova in Portuguese without actually speaking the language), but Japanese is a very precise language and a bad intonation can change everything. And the fact that it's recorded and not live puts extra pressure on me. But I really enjoyed the exercise. I think my years of reading manga also helped.
