It's wintertime on Navarre Beach, and hungry bonito are invading the shoreline in droves. Sight-casting for these hard fighting speedsters is a great time if you're out there when they're running. We just so happened to be there on one of those days.
Gulf menhaden were packed into dense bait-balls and the bonito were hot on the trail of anything shiny and moving. Even the seagulls got into the mix when one of them flew into the path of my cast.
