Bellevue purchases the electric power they need for the city through a co-op, but if the need arises, Bellevue can generate their own power. Bellevue has the capacity to generate approximately 165% of the power need to supply the Bellevue community at peak demand. This back up power can be supplied with 5 to 30 minutes of an outage depending on location. Just one more reason why Google should choose Bellevue, Iowa.
