How To Install A Springer Front End - Honda Shadow Bobber Build

Описание: Here, I have taken all of the guess work out of installing the springer front end for your Honda Shadow VT600.

NOTE: on some models of VT600 the fork locks on the lower end of the neck may make sliding the springer on a bit more difficult. the answer to this is to set the springer up on the neck without the steering stem, then push the steering stem up into the fork from the bottom, slip on the dust seal and lower bearing and push the stem all the way up into the neck, then add your upper steering stem bearings and top clamp and proceed from there. =)

When you purchase the kit with our springer front end, you will have everything you need to easily fit the Springer to your Honda Shadow VT600!

EASY TO INSTALL IN 11 SIMPLE STEPS!
1. Remove stock front end.
2. Drift out stock steering bearing races.
3. Install steering bearing races.
4. Drift out wheel bearings and wheel spacer.
5. Install new wheel bearings with bearing spacer in hub.
6. Mount axle and wheel spacers to Springer.
7. Install lower steering bearing dust shield and bearing.
8. Install Springer to steering neck.
9. Install top steering bearing with dust cover.
10. Install top clamp, centering nut, and stem nut.
11. Tighten top clamp bolts.

The stock risers on your Honda Shadow will not fit these Springers. You will need to either get a set of aftermarket risers for your Springer or you can pick up a set of our risers which are specifically meant to fit this Springer Kit.
