Frédie is the founder of community kitchen Joyfull Greens in Godalming, Surrey, and a member of our Global Plant Kitchens mentorship program.
Frédie says, ‘I have been a teacher for over two decades, and over time I have seen my students struggle more with mental health and poor diets’.
‘I want to bring people together and provide a space for them to learn how to cook healthy meals, share food, and combat social isolation’.
‘Global Plant Kitchens has been incredibly supportive. I sent a simple email, and within a few hours, I received a reply. They were eager to chat and provided weekly support, which helped me set up the school and take the next steps’.
