This Funky DL remake of this Nujabes instrumental is taken from the forthcoming album: "February - A Rest Beats Tribute To J Dilla & Nujabes".
Sky is falling was originally a Nujabes-produced track featuring Mount Vernon's own C.L. Smooth. The 70's led soulful element to the original is not lost here in Funky DL's interpretation. The drums are smooth and crisp and the instrumentation takes on the magic of the original melodies. Dukus again with vocalist Lei-an contributes some beautiful and harmonic vocal chants for added groove and appreciation.
