My Day As A Float Patient Care Tech/CNA/PCT

Описание: Hey guys!!! Follow me around for the day to experience what my job is like as a patient care tech. I made a video a couple years ago talking about it, but now I want you to visualize what this job is like if you're interested in this field. As a float tech, I work in every area of the hospital, depending on where I'm needed the most for that day. I am working under my EMT license.

I shot these videos on 2 separate days, in the ICU/PCU and also in the monitor room. So my hair may look a little ratchet in one video (It was hair re-do day, so don't come for me :)). But the info remains the same. Hope you guys enjoy. Comment below with any questions about this field.

12 Hour Night Shift Breakdown:
1.) Call to see where I'm working/Clock In
2.) Circle up meeting and get report
3.) Do vitals and meet patients
4.) Chart (input patient info in the computer) and answer call lights
5.) Do more vitals, baths, help patients with needs
5.) Lunch around 3 AM
6.) Do final vitals around 4 Am, finish baths, take out trash and linens
7.) Complete final charting
8.) Give report to new tech and say bye to patients
9.) Clock out
10.)Home sweet home
