5 Tips to Clean Your Pellet Grill

1. EMPTY THE FIRE POT
Once your grill is fully cool, grab a pair of Nitrile Gloves and empty out the firepot. The ashes you remove can be tossed into the barrel of the grill. Those ashes will actually help insulate the grill so that it easily keeps consistent heat, no matter the temps outside. Now your firepot is ready to go!

2. DITCH THE GREASE
Before you sear up your next steak, make sure your recteq can hit the heat without risk of grease flares and flames. Most importantly, clean the drip pan and bucket. To make cleanup easier next time, use our Drip Pan Liner and add our Aluminum Bucket Liner to catch hot grease. Clean-up will be a piece of cake!

3. POUR IN NEW PELLETS
It's a great time to pour in a load of fresh pellets, but first, you’ll want to clear out any old pellets, especially if they might have gotten wet or are crumbling into dust.
