Dear friends of aviation! Proudly I present you 2019 yearclip! Best Of Aviation 2019! I had an absolutely incredible year. I did 15 flights, visited 17 airports and left Europe for the first time on a long haul flight! The past year has so many highlights that it is mighty difficult to write them down, or feature them in an aviation music video. I did flying trips to Madrid (twice), London (twice), Barcelona, and the best of all, Toronto, Canada. I flew on a Boeing 747 for the first time, a dream come true! Also flights on the B787, B777-300ER, A330, A340-600 and A350 were very memorable. I caught a lot of amazing aircraft. I managed to catch three IL-76s this year, aswell as a couple of AN-12s, AN-26, IL-96 and a TU-154! The best Boeings were the B747SP and B737-200. Offcourse I filmed some of my beloved MD-11s and even a few DC-10s aswell as a few MD-80s and amazingly, a real DC-8! The Airbus A340 is getting rarer but I caught quite a lot of them this year, the best ones should be the Mahan Air A340-600 and the Aerolineas Argentinas A340-300. Special liveries like Aeromexico's Quatzalcoatl, Etihad Formula 1, the British Airways Retro aircraft, Qantas Yam Dreaming, El Al Retro were among my catches this year. My home airport Rotterdam had their busiest year in history welcoming more than a million passengers and welcoming some very nice movements. The best one must be the Hifly A340-300 for me. KLM turned 100 years this year! Amazing! I filmed a birdstrike for the first time! Auch! Sadly we lost a few greats in aviation this year. Jet Airways, Wow Air, Thomas Cook, they are no more. El Al retired their Boeing 747. KLM retired a few 747s too as did British Airways. Surinam Airways said goodbye to their A340-300. And Boeing is getting into more and more trouble as their 737MAX stays grounded after two horrible accidents. Hopefully fortunes will turn around for them in 2020.

2019 has also been a year for me where I made some new friends, and I had amazing times with them spotting our favorite planes. Here is a big thank you to you all for all the support and friendship you have given me! Also a huge thank you to my loyal subscribers who comment under my video's. Can't tell you how much that means to me!

I've probably forgotten something which I should have written down but this description can't go on for ever. :P
