Описание: Sky News understands the veteran Labour MP, who was leading the investigation into claims Boris Johnson misled MPs, had been in direct contact with the former senior civil servant.

In March this year, Sky News broke the news that Ms Gray was in secret talks with Labour about becoming Sir Keir's chief of staff, and within hours, she'd quit the civil service in order to take up the role.
